Building on the resounding success of the World Knowledge Forum (WKF), which Maekyung Media has cultivated into Asia's premier knowledge platform over the past 26 years, we are now proud to inaugurate the first-ever World Crypto Forum (WCF). This new forum is dedicated to navigating the future of digital assets and blockchain technology.

We stand at the epicenter of a profound digital revolution, spearheaded by artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain. This wave of innovation is fundamentally reshaping the traditional financial system, while 'crypto' has emerged as a formidable new asset class, commanding a significant global market.

However, this immense potential is shrouded in a fog of uncertainty. The rapid pace of technological advancement has outstripped the development of a clear regulatory framework. Critical issues such as the integration with legacy financial systems and robust investor protection remain urgent challenges that we must collectively address.

The Korean market, in particular, holds vast, globally recognized potential. Yet, it has been constrained by regulatory hurdles that have limited institutional investment, preventing its full capabilities from being unleashed.

The inaugural World Crypto Forum will be held at a critical inflection point of the Great Transition, under the banner of “Bridging Digital Assets to Finance.” We are bringing together high-ranking government officials, key leaders from traditional finance, and global crypto innovators. Our mission is to collectively forecast and architect the future, anticipating the monumental shifts in the Korean market as we move toward the institutionalization of digital assets and full-scale corporate adoption.

Just as the World Knowledge Forum has served as the preeminent stage for sharing the wisdom of global leaders such as Bill Gates, Sam Altman, George W. Bush, and Hillary Clinton, the WCF inherits this distinguished legacy. As its 'twin forum,' it is poised to become the new epicenter of the global crypto discourse.

Centered around two core pillars—“the future of digital assets, including RWAs and stablecoins,” and “Web3.0 strategies of leading Korean companies”—this forum will present a blueprint for the future of finance and bring together one of the most powerful global networks.
