
The first World Crypto Forum (WCF), where global big shots will gather to discuss the future of digital assets, will be held in Seoul from the 10th to the 11th of next month. Like the theme of "Fusion of Finance and Digital Assets," the forum deals with digital assets, including stablecoins, as well as future digital finance in which real-linked assets (RWA) will be combined with blockchain networks. To this end, 68 speakers from all over the world, including North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, will visit the Fairmont Ambassador Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Currently, the global digital asset market is led by the United States. In the WCF, Eric Trump, co-founder of World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the second son of U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as heads of U.S.-based "financial giants" such as venture capital (VC) and asset management companies, will participate as speakers.
Anthony Albanese, Chief Operating Officer of Crypto at Andrison Horowitz (a16z), Silicon Valley's leading VC, introduces how stablecoins, digital asset payments and the RWA market are changing. a16z is a Silicon Valley-based VC that specializes in investing in new growth fields such as fintech and artificial intelligence (AI) including digital assets.
Solana's Luin Asia-Pacific (APAC), which opened the era of meme coins with its strength of speed and scalability and increased blockchain accessibility for individual investors, discusses the institution's introduction strategy.
At Chainlink, a project that is increasing information reliability by inputting real world data on the blockchain, Asia-Pacific and Middle East General Manager Nikki Ariyasinghe will participate. He shares prospects for how decentralized finance (DeFi), traditional finance and digital finance can be fused.
At Binance, the world's largest digital asset exchange, Neerun Pwattananukun, CEO of Gulf Binance, will be on the WCF stage. He is expected to discuss ways to respond to regulations in Asia with Takeshi Gino, head of Binance's Japanese branch. In particular, as Binance wrapped up its acquisition of the Korean exchange "Gopax" last year, it is expected to disclose its vision for the Korean market.
At Grayscale, which has launched a large number of digital asset-related funds, Senior Vice President (SVP) Kang In-go will participate as a speaker. Vice President Kang will be a speaker with Paul Starkey, Chief Sales Officer (CRO) of Indxx, an index developer, to introduce trends in digital asset products pouring out of Wall Street. Grayscale introduced "GDLC," a portfolio ETF containing the top five virtual assets by market capitalization, as well as digital asset spot exchange-traded funds (ETF).
A way to connect trade data, documents, and assets to the blockchain is also discussed. Dominique Skier, co-founder of IOTA, a German-based project, introduces how trade data can be quickly and accurately moved across borders.
Andriamampiana Mahefa Dimvinina, Madagascar's Minister of Digital Development, Friendship and Communication, will hold a session with Vaidi City Touré, Digital Specialist. He introduces the agriculture and administration that blockchain is changing in Madagascar, which lacks infrastructure. Kim Ji-yoon, CEO of blockchain infrastructure company DSRV, will also participate in the session to introduce pilot projects underway there.
